Terms & Conditions.

Thank you for supporting Friends of WBGS. These terms and conditions refer to the online entry to our raffle.

1. This raffle is organised and administered Friends of Watford Boys Grammar School, Rickmansworth Road, Watford, WD18 7JF having Registered Charity Number: 1073843

2. By entering the raffle you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Any raffle entry and participation instructions form part of these terms and conditions. Any entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will not be valid.

3. The cost of each ticket for the Friends of WBGS raffle is £2, sold in books of 5 or 10. You may purchase more than one book of tickets.

4. No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 years. Friends of WBGS reserves the right to carry out age verification checks. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 he/she will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit his/her prize and the stake will be returned.

5. Friends of WBGS raffle is open to all UK residents over the age of 16.

6. To purchase raffle tickets online entrants must be residents of Great Britain (only) and 16 years of age or over. This means that online entries will not be accepted from Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and BFPOs.

7 .The draw will take place on 29th March 2023.

8. Raffle tickets will be drawn randomly.

9. All monies raised by this raffle will support the activities of the direct services of Friends of WBGS, registered charity number 1073843.

10. Participation in this raffle can be made by payment by credit or debit card, where entrants will be notified by email of their ticket numbers. Some credit card providers may charge a cash advance fee for raffle ticket payments. Please check with your provider before paying for raffle tickets using this method.

11. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received.

12. Friends of WBGS cannot accept CAF payments for raffle entries and all CAF payments will be treated as donations.

13. Friends of WBGS accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.

14. Any ticket entries received after the closing date may miss entry into the draw and therefore will be considered as a donation to Friends of WBGS.

15. Prizes will be allocated in order of the tickets being drawn from the first prize down to the last one. Read full details of raffle prizes below.

16. Prizes are as follows:

First Prize - Overnight stay at The Grove, Watford for 2 with breakfast

Second Prize - Harry Potter World Ticket for a family of 4

Third Prize - 6 months Everyone Active Gym Membership

Fourth Prize - ASUS Chromebook

Fifth Prize - Dinner at the Glasshouse Restaurant for 2 (The Grove)

Sixth Prize - £ 100 Uniform Voucher

17. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

18. Please keep the ticket or allocated number as proof of purchase.

19. Where Friends of WBGS is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for six months following Friends of WBGS's first attempt to notify the prize- winner, Friends of WBGS may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in future raffles.

20. All winners are required to co-operate with Friends of WBGS’s right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, and to provide proof of age when requested.

21. In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, Friends of WBGS reserves the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where Friends of WBGS deems it appropriate and/or feasible it will notify entrants of the error.

22. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. Friends of WBGS reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.

23. Friends of WBGS raffle is subject to the laws of England and Wales.

24. Friends of WBGS’s decision in all matters relating to Friends of WBGS raffle is final.
