Thank You!
A big thank you to everyone who attended the annual Quiz Night on 2nd March. The event was a huge
success, selling out 3 weeks before. Those who managed to get a ticket squeezed
into the STEM centre and enjoyed a fun night stretching their minds to answer a
wide variety of questions, accompanied by delicious and plentiful food prepared
by Punjabi Gourmet. As well as it being
a most enjoyable evening, we raised almost £3,000 for the school, so thank you
to everyone for your continued support.
If you couldn’t make it to the WBGS Quiz, or fancy having
another go, then Watford Girls Grammar School Parents Association are holding
their Big Quiz on Saturday 27th
April at 7pm in WGGS main school hall. To book a ticket email wggspa@gmail.com.
See details on the attached flyer.

Family Draw
The winner of this terms’ Family Draw is number 40 - John
O’Sullivan.
The Family Draw is another way in which the FoS raise money
for resources for the school, particularly the different clubs and societies on
offer. For the cost of £25 per year, as well as helping to support these
activities, you could be in with a chance of winning a cash prize. One number
is drawn each term and the holder of that number wins a cash prize! If you are
not already entered into the draw and would like to join, or want more
information email info@friendsofwbgs.org
As always, all information on Friends of School activities

attending events, or helping out at recent concerts and parents’ evenings, your
on-going support is very much appreciated and helps raise valuable funds for
our boys. We wish you all a happy and relaxing Easter break.
